Surgical Services

The Surgical Department at St. Helena Hospital Clearlake provides a comprehensive range of general surgical services as well as a variety of Laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Additionally, St. Helena Hospital Clearlake works closely with St. Helena Hospital―noted for its clinical excellence―for cardiac and vascular services. Together we are bringing a new level of healthcare to the region.

On an annual basis, more that 1,700 surgeries are performed in our inpatient / outpatient facility. The scope of surgical services offered include:

• General Surgery: Including Laparoscopic appendectomies, gall bladder, hernia, and vascular procedures
• Gynecology: Including Laparoscopic Assisted Hysterectomies
• Orthopedic: Total joint, hip, knee and trauma surgeries
• Urology
• Ophthalmology
• Endoscopy
• Holmium Laser and Lithotripsy

Outpatient Surgery
St. Helena Hospital Clearlake's Outpatient Surgery Department offers a patient-centered approach to care. Our facility is well equipped and our staff is skilled in endoscopic diagnostic testing, outpatient surgery, blood and IV therapy.

We want to ensure all our surgical patients benefit from the excellent care given in the Outpatient surgery department. Therefore, we admit all of our patients needing surgery or diagnostic treatment through this unit. If you are an outpatient you will be discharged through this unit as well.
